Not a big story in a game in Istanbul where 13th ranked Haremspor (10-15) was defeated by second ranked Samsunspor (20-5) 86-75 on Saturday. Samsunspor looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Marquis Wright (185-1995, college: Siena) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-1994, college: Georgia Tech) who added 16 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was the former international forward Izzet Turkyilmaz (212-1990) with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Donte Clark (194-1994, college: Texas Southern, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Samsunspor and four Haremspor players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Samsunspor have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 20-5 record behind leader Cagdas BS. Newly promoted Haremspor dropped to the tenth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Kocaeli and Mamak.
