U18 League top team - VKKM (18-4) added another victory to their record on Sunday. This time they beat eleventh ranked Perkunas (4-18) in Vilniaus 126-121. The hosts trailed by 8 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 1-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 126-121. VKKM made 31-of-37 free shots (83.8 percent) during the game. VKKM outrebounded Perkunas 57-43 including a 38-27 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 40 assists. Guard Kristupas Lesciauskas (190-2005) notched a double-double by scoring 20 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the effort and forward Paulius Narvilas (197-2006) supported him with 15 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists. VKKM's coach Virgilijus Zakrys used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Even 42 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 6 assists by Kajus Michalenkovas (-2005) did not help to save the game for Perkunas. Martynas Mejaras (-2005) added 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Five VKKM and four Perkunas players scored in double figures. VKKM have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 18-4 record, which they share with SKM I. Perkunas lost eleventh consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with 18 games lost. They share the position with Birzu.
