Regular Season Round 24: TED Ankara - Sigortam.net 58-56

The most exciting game of round 24 in the TBL took place in Ankara. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Sigortam.net (12-13) to sixth ranked TED Ankara (15-10) 58-56 on Sunday evening. The best player for the winners was American guard Shane Gibson (188-1990, college: Sacred Heart) who scored 21 points and 6 rebounds. The other American import center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Cenk Sekeroglu (203-1991) who recorded 11 points and 7 rebounds and Serbian center Vladimir Stimac (210-1987) added 7 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. TED Ankara have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Final Spor. Sigortam.net lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 13 games lost. TED Ankara's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Ankara OGM Orman.
