Very predictable result in Istanbul where eleventh ranked Fenerbahce 2 (9-15) outscored bottom-ranked Antalya (2-23) 93-51 on Sunday. Fenerbahce 2 dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Antalya's 32. Fenerbahce 2 forced 21 Antalya turnovers and outrebounded them 48-33 including 17 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Marreon Jackson (185, college: Arizona St.) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 5 assists and 6 steals and center Ismail Karabilen (206-2001) who added 13 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Fenerbahce 2's coach Ertug Tuzcukaya felt very confident that he used entire bench saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Dogancan Topcuoglu (-2001) with 14 points and Atahan Saylam (-1997) scored 8 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Despite that victory Fenerbahce 2 went down to thirteenth position due to points difference. Antalya lost seventeenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 23 lost games. Fenerbahce 2 will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Antalya will play against Yalovaspor (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
