Everything went according to plan in Bucuresti where second ranked Rm Valcea II (7-2) outscored 8th ranked Laguna (1-7) 103-62 on Tuesday. The game without a history. Rm Valcea II led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Laguna's 34. Rm Valcea II forced 25 Laguna turnovers and outrebounded them 53-37 including a 28-9 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Laguna's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Lamar Hamrick (193-1998, college: Portland St., agency: Haylett Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 27 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 6 steals. His fellow American import Ajay Singh (199, college: Westmont, agency: Haylett Sports) chipped in 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Hamrick is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Rm Valcea II's coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was Paul Patran (196-2001) who recorded 20 points and 8 rebounds and guard Cristian Florea (193-1993) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Rm Valcea II keeps a position of league leader. Laguna lost third consecutive game. Laguna at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the eighth place with seven games lost.
