Very predictable result in Ankara where fifth ranked Final Spor (15-10) edged 10th ranked Mamak (10-15) 91-89 on Saturday. They outrebounded Mamak 40-28 including 26 on the defensive glass. Final Spor looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American LaceDarius Dunn (193-1987, college: Baylor) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Omer Sancakli (195-1992) who added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Myles Mack (178-1993, college: Rutgers) with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and his fellow American import Carlton Bragg Jr (208-1995, college: N.Mexico) scored 23 points and 8 rebounds. Four Final Spor and five Mamak players scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. Final Spor maintains fifth position with 15-10 record, which they share with TED Ankara. Mamak lost sixth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with 15 games lost. They share the position with Kocaeli and Haremspor. Final Spor will meet at home league's second-placed Samsunspor in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Mamak will play against Kocaeli (#12) in Izmit and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
