Very expected game when 9th ranked Vilniaus DPV (7-14) was smashed on the road by fifth ranked LSU-Kaunas (15-7) 87-60. LSU-Kaunas players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Guard Ieva Stankeviciute (177-1989) scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international guard Dovile Luksiene (174-1992) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists during the contest. LSU-Kaunas' coach Kornelija Balciunaite felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
