Second Stage Round 14: Triglav - Jezica 77-73

An interesting game for Triglav (9-3) which hosted in Kranj one of their biggest challengers Jezica (7-5). Second ranked Triglav managed to get a 4-point victory 77-73. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Triglav dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Jezica's 36. Triglav forced 23 Jezica turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Center Lara Bubnic (190-1999) orchestrated the victory by scoring 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international point guard Rebeka Abramovic (172-1993) contributed with 10 points, 6 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Triglav's coach Gasper Sluga used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Forward Hana Ivanusa (181-2004) replied with 14 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals and Ela Micunovic (182-1997) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Jezica. Four Triglav and five Jezica players scored in double figures. Triglav have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 9-3 record having just three points less than leader Celje. Jezica lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the third place with five games lost. They share the position with Ilrija.
