Regular Season Round 32: Dresden - Paderborn 88-80

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Uni Baskets (15-16) lost to sixth ranked Titans (18-14) in Dresden 80-88 on Sunday. Titans forced 23 Uni Baskets turnovers. The winners were led by naturalized American Grant Teichmann (191-1996, college: C-N) who scored that evening 21 points (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and American guard David Kachelries (183-1998, college: SF Austin, agency: Diamond Sports) supported him with 17 points and 4 assists. Four Titans players scored in double figures. Even 24 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) by forward Marten Linssen (203-1998, college: St.Louis) did not help to save the game for Uni Baskets. American point guard George Brock (183-1995, college: SUNO) added 11 points for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Titans maintains sixth position with 18-14 record. Loser Uni Baskets keep the tenth place with 16 games lost. Titans will meet at home Duesseldorf (#15) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Uni Baskets will play against Muenster (#14) and hope to secure a win.
