Not a big story in a game in Kyiv where 15th ranked Chernigiv (1-5) was defeated by eleventh ranked Khmelnytskyi (6-2) 68-57 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 7 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 9-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 68-57. Khmelnytskyi forced 20 Chernigiv turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Khmelnytskyi made 8 blocks. Forward Vadim Paliukh (190-1994) had a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and forward Alexander Buzhansky (187-2003) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
