The best for the losing side was American point guard Lovell Cabbil (188-1997, college: Liberty) with 18 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Ivorian guard Bazoumana Kone (190-1993, college: Bremerhaven) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tigers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain second place with 25-8 record having just two points less than leader Vechta. Lions at the other side keep the third position with 12 games lost. Tigers are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Schwenningen (#18) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Lions will play against Science City Jena (#15) and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
