Very expected game when 8th ranked Kedainiu (10-14) was smashed on the road by fourth ranked 7bet Vilnius (18-6) 86-55 on Sunday. 7bet Vilnius dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Kedainiu's 34. 7bet Vilnius forced 31 Kedainiu turnovers and outrebounded them 47-35 including a 17-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Kedainiu's players. It was a very good performance for forward Ugne Kucinskaite (182-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Vakare Stankeviciute (161-1999) contributed with 25 points and 6 steals (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Loreta Sulimaite (172-1998) replied with 13 points and 6 rebounds and center Brigita Turskyte (182-1999) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Kedainiu. Kedainiu's coach Gerda Ceckauskiene already knew that her team would not have a big chance, so allowed to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. 7bet Vilnius have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Vilniaus univ. Newly promoted Kedainiu keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost.
