Regular Season Round 26: Balikesir - Final Spor 94-91

The most exciting game of round 26 in the TBL took place in Balikesir. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Final Spor (15-11) to seventh ranked Balikesir (15-11) 94-91 in the game for the fifth place. 25 personal fouls committed by Final Spor helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was American forward Nakye Sanders (203-1997, college: Towson, agency: Helping Ballers) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). The other American import guard Kahlil Dukes (183-1995, college: Niagara) chipped in 27 points and 5 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Guard Omer Sancakli (195-1992) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists and Talat Alp Altunbey (204-1994) added 20 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Balikesir have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with TED Ankara and Final Spor.
