Everything went according to plan when twelfth ranked MLP Academics Heidelberg (13-18) beat on the road bottom-ranked Bayreuth (6-24) 102-96 on Wednesday. American point guard Eric Washington (183-1993, college: Miami, OH) fired 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Maximilian Ugrai (201-1995) chipped in 15 points. MLP Academics Heidelberg's coach Joonas Iisalo used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Otis Livingston II (180-1996, college: GMU) produced 38 points (!!!) and 9 assists and Canadian Jackson Rowe (201-1997, college: CS Fullerton) added 11 points and 10 rebounds respectively for lost side.
