No shocking result in a game when eleventh ranked Kirchheim Knights (17-17) defeated on the road 17th ranked Leverkusen (9-25) 90-80 on Saturday. American point guard Richard Williams Jr (178-1987, college: SDSU) scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists to lead the charge for the winners and British guard Jaydon Henry-McCalla (202-1999) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Kirchheim Knights players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Nick Hornsby (201-1995, college: Sacramento St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and naturalized Brazilian Gabriel De Oliveira (206-1998) scored 20 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Leverkusen's coach Hans-Juergen Gnad tested twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Kirchheim Knights moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Paderborn. Leverkusen lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the seventeenth position with 25 games lost.
