Another interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Istanbul: Dacka (#6) and Besiktas (#15). Dacka (14-13) won against visiting Besiktas (8-19) 100-93. Dacka looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international point guard Dogus Ozdemiroglu (191-1996) who scored 30 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. American Wayne McCullough (195-1994, college: CCU) chipped in 22 points. Dacka's coach Selcuk Ernak used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. American point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright (176-1995, college: Arizona) produced 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and his fellow American import Allerik Freeman (190-1994, college: NC State) added 26 points respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Dacka maintains sixth position with 14-13 record. Besiktas lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth place with 19 games lost. Dacka will meet Tofas (#7) in the next round. Besiktas will play against Bursaspor (#5) and hope to secure a win.
