No shocking result in a game when second ranked ALBA Berlin (31-3) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Bayreuth (6-26) 83-72 on Thursday. The former international point guard Maodo Lo (191-1992, college: Columbia) stepped up and scored 27 points for the winners and New Zealand center Yannick Wetzell (206-1996, college: SDSU) chipped in 14 points and 6 rebounds. ALBA Berlin's coach Israel Gonzalez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was American point guard Otis Livingston II (180-1996, college: GMU) with 24 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import point guard Brandon Childress (183-1997, college: Wake Forest) scored 20 points and 6 rebounds. Defending champion maintains second place with 31-3 record having just one point less than leader Bonn. Bayreuth lost their third game in a row. They stay dead last with 26 lost games.
