The most important game in the last round took place in Balikesir between second ranked Samsunspor (22-6) and eighth ranked Sigortam.net (14-14) on Friday night. Samsunspor was defeated by Sigortam.net in a tough game on the road 77-81. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Samsunspor. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian center Vladimir Stimac (210-1987) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Sherron Dorsey-Walker (195-1993, college: Oakland) who added 23 points during the contest. Four Sigortam.net players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Diante Watkins (175-1990, college: RMU) responded with 19 points and 5 assists (made all of his eight free throws) and Senegalese center Abdoulaye Gueye (206-1994, college: Georgia Tech) scored 11 points and 8 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Sigortam.net maintains eighth position with 14-14 record. Samsunspor at the other side keeps the second place with six games lost.
