Very expected game when 18th ranked Bayreuth (6-27) was defeated on the road by twelfth ranked Brose Bamberg (15-19) 120-106 on Sunday. Brose Bamberg dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Bayreuth's 26. They outrebounded Bayreuth 27-16 including a 12-1 advantage in offensive rebounds. Brose Bamberg shot the lights out from three sinking 19 long-distance shots on high 67.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists.
