Very important is a home loss of second ranked Rm Valcea II (10-3) against leader Phoenix Corona (7-0) on Sunday night. Host Rm Valcea II was crushed by Phoenix Corona in Ramnicu Valcea 97-56. American-Indian Ajay Singh (199, college: Westmont, agency: Haylett Sports) came up with 19 points and 7 rebounds (made all of his seven free throws) and Anton Rotaru (188-2002) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Rm Valcea II in the defeat. Phoenix Corona have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Newly promoted Phoenix Corona maintains ninth place with 7-0 record. Rm Valcea II at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the second position with three games lost.
