Leader Turk Telekom recorded the twenty fourth victory. This time they beat 8th ranked Galatasaray (12-16) 106-91 in Ankara. Strangely Galatasaray outrebounded Turk Telekom 38-26 including 24 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. It was a good game for point guard Tony Taylor (184-1990, college: GWU) who led his team to a victory with 28 points and 6 assists (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). French forward Axel Bouteille (201-1995) contributed with 20 points and 5 assists for the winners. Turk Telekom's coach Erdem Can allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Canadian-Jamaican guard Dylan Ennis (188-1991, college: Oregon) answered with 25 points and American Tyrus McGee (188-1991, college: Iowa St.) added 19 points in the effort for Galatasaray. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Turk Telekom maintains first place with 24-4 record. Galatasaray at the other side keeps the eighth position with 16 games lost. They share it with Buyukcekmece and Bahcesehir. Turk Telekom will play against Efes (#4) in Istanbul in the next round. Galatasaray will play on the road against Merkezefendi (#12) in Denizl and hopes to get back on the winning track.
