There was no surprise in Bucuresti where 7th ranked Cluj CSU (4-10) was defeated by third ranked Agronomia (10-4) 70-56 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Agronomia. Cluj CSU managed to win third quarter 17-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Agronomia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Mihnea Buligescu (-2001) scored 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and center Andrei Vizitiu (201-1986) chipped in 10 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Center Mihnea-Tudor Brie (196-2001) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds and Toma Lungoci (193-2002) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Agronomia maintains third position with 10-4 record having just eight point less than leader Brasov. Cluj CSU lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Craiova 2.
