The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Balikesir: Sigortam.net (#8) and Balikesir (#7). Balikesir was crushed at home by 16 points 73-89 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Sigortam.net outrebounded Balikesir 36-20 including a 27-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Balikesir's players. The best player for the winners was forward Gokhan Yazicioglu (200-1990) who scored 21 points. Forward Umut Gecen (-1997) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Berke Aygunduz (196-1998) produced 14 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Kahlil Dukes (183-1995, college: Niagara) added 11 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Sigortam.net (15-14) moved-up to seventh place, which they share with defeated Balikesir. Balikesir lost third consecutive game.
