A very close game took place in Ankara between Bornova and TED Ankara. Fourteenth ranked Bornova (11-18) got a very close victory on the road over higher ranked TED Ankara (16-13). Bornova managed to escape with a 2-point win 77-75 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the home team. American guard Troy Franklin (183-1989, college: Coppin St.) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 assists for the winners and his fellow American import power forward Brandon Huffman (208-1998, college: JSU) chipped in 13 points and 12 rebounds. American center Brandon Walters (208-1995, college: MTSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 15 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and swingman Kaan Sariaslan (193-1997) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Four TED Ankara players scored in double figures. The victory was the third consecutive win for Bornova. They moved-up to twelfth place, which they share with Kocaeli and Mamak. Loser TED Ankara dropped to the sixth position with 13 games lost.
