There was an upset in Istanbul where higher ranked Buyukcekmece (13-17) was rolled over by fourteenth ranked Besiktas (10-20) 107-69 on Saturday. Besiktas outrebounded Buyukcekmece 43-30 including a 31-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. Besiktas looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The best player for the winners was point guard Parker Jackson-Cartwright (176-1995, college: Arizona) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points, 11 assists and 4 steals. Allerik Freeman (190-1994, college: NC State) chipped in 23 points and 5 rebounds. Five Besiktas players scored in double figures. Point guard Jordon Crawford (168-1990, college: BGSU, agency: Slash Sports) produced 19 points and 5 assists and guard Terrell Harris (191-1993, college: Georgia Coll., agency: Players Group) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests.
