Massagno dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Neuchatel's 26 and made 22-of-25 charity shots (88.0 percent) during the game. Massagno forced 20 Neuchatel turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Massagno especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. The former international Dusan Mladjan (198-1986, agency: Interperformances) scored 30 points to lead the charge for the winners and American Shannon Bogues (190-1997, college: SF Austin) chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four Massagno players scored in double figures. American forward Dalan Ancrum (198-1996, college: W.Illinois) responded with 11 points and 5 rebounds and Angolan guard Silmy Joao Caputo (184-2002) scored 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
