Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Istanbul: Galatasaray and Emlak. Galatasaray won against visiting Emlak 56-46. Anguillan-British forward Mikiah Herbert-Harrigan (188-1998, college: S.Carolina) fired a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Busra Akbas (174-1995) chipped in 12 points and 5 rebounds. Galatasaray's coach used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Australian guard Chantel Horvat (185-1998, college: UCLA) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and center Gizem Basaran (194-1992) added 7 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Galatasaray's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Istanbul to the arena Fenerbahce.
