Regular Season Round 1: Amager - BAC 72-90

Another exciting game was played in Kastrup between BAC and Amager where BAC beat Amager on the road with 18-point difference 90-72. BAC outrebounded Amager 52-38 including 20 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Holger Rasmussen (200) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 14 rebounds. Magnus Madsen (200-2003) contributed with 16 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. The former international forward Tomas Bjarkason (204-1999, college: Lewis) answered with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 15 rebounds and 9 assists and French Lens Aboudou (192-1990) added 14 points in the effort for Amager. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BAC will play against Naestved at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Amager will have a break next round.
