But Emlak 2 was not able to use a home court advantage and was rolled over by the opponent from Zonguldak 68-46 on Saturday night. It was a great shooting night for Zonguldak especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 53.3 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. American center Sasha Goodlett (195-1990, college: Georgia Tech) nailed 18 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 blocks for the winning side and forward Deniz Aygul (186-1995) accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds. Point guard Ceren Akpinar (175-2005) came up with 12 points and forward Feray Laic (185-2005) added 8 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Emlak 2 in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Zonguldak will meet at home Adana in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Emlak 2 will play against Botas GA in Ankara and hope to win that game.
