No shocking result in a game when Braunschweig beat MBC in Weissenfels 85-77 on Sunday. American guard TJ Crockett (188-1999, college: Lindenwood) notched 20 points to lead the effort and Ferdinand Zylka (191-1998) supported him with 22 points. Four Braunschweig players scored in double figures. Even 8 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists by American point guard Diante Baldwin (180-1994, college: UNCG) did not help to save the game for MBC. Martin Breunig (203-1992, college: Montana) added 14 points and 5 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Braunschweig will meet at home Chemnitz in the next round and are hoping to win another game. MBC will play against Telekom Baskets in Bonn and hope to win that game.
