Rather expected game when 3rd ranked Grevenbroich (3-2) was edged on the road by top-ranked Hagen BG (6-0) 99-98 on Friday. Hagen BG looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American guard Shawn Scott (185-1996, college: SW Christian) fired a triple-double by scoring 47 points (!!!), 10 rebounds, 10 assists and 6 steals for the winners. Dutch forward Quincy Tjon Affo (203-2000, college: Hill JC) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds. Scott is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Hagen BG's coach Tome Zdravevski used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. American guard Brian Dawson (188, college: Regis Univ., agency: Interperformances) produced 27 points and forward Ogechi Nebo (192-1997) added 25 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Grevenbroich players scored in double figures. Hagen BG have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. Newly promoted Grevenbroich dropped to the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with Muenster 2. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
