Regular Season Round 2: Buyukcekmece - Turk Telekom 84-83

There was a minor upset when Turk Telekom was edged on the road by Buyukcekmece 84-83 on Saturday. Mexican-American point guard Alexander Perez-Kaufmann (191-1993, agency: Pro Sports) notched 22 points and 8 assists to lead the effort and American swingman Marcquise Reed (190-1995, college: Clemson, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 19 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Buyukcekmece players scored in double figures. Buyukcekmece's coach Ozhan Civgin used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) by American guard Jalen Adams (191-1995, college: UConn, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Turk Telekom. His fellow American import guard Tyrone Wallace (196-1994, college: California, agency: Pensack Sports) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Buyukcekmece will meet Dacka in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Turk Telekom will play against Bodrum and hope to win that game.
