Very predictable result when Kirchheim Knights defeated at home Eisbaeren Bremerhaven 87-73 on Saturday. Kirchheim Knights made 19-of-24 free shots (79.2 percent) during the game. Kirchheim Knights outrebounded Eisbaeren Bremerhaven 43-29 including 28 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Michael Flowers (185-1999, college: WSU) who scored 21 points and 5 assists. The other American import guard Mike Miller (193-1997, college: N.Texas) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Naturalized American Jarelle Reischel (200-1992, college: EKU) produced 16 points and 9 rebounds and center Robert Oehle (209-1988) added 18 points and 7 rebounds respectively for the guests. Four Eisbaeren Bremerhaven players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
