Final Spor has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as it came on the road game in Ankara, where they defeated Ankaragucu (0-4) 90-77 on Sunday. Final Spor looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American center Brendan Medley-Bacon (213-2000, college: NCCU) fired a double-double by scoring 23 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. The other American import guard Deshon Taylor (188-1996, college: Fresno St.) chipped in 25 points and 5 assists. American forward Marcus Weathers (196-1997, college: SMU) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Alican Guney (194-1989) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Final Spor (1-3) left bottom position moving up to twelfth place, which they share with 4 other teams. It was Ankaragucu's fourth loss in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. They share the position with Kocaeli. Final Spor will meet at home higher ranked Konyaspor (#8) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ankaragucu will play against Fenerbahce 2 (#9) in Istanbul and hopes to get finally their first victory.
