Holbaek can celebrate finally their first win this season after three consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Kastrup, where they edged Amager (0-5) 84-83. Holbaek forced 27 Amager turnovers. Amager was plagued by 28 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Magnus Donsrud (204-2004) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Peter Beier-Christiansen (204-2002) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds for the winners. Guard Oscar Quackenbush (187-1999) answered with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists and French Lens Aboudou (192-1990) added 15 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists in the effort for Amager. Four Amager players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Holbaek (1-3) left bottom position moving up to seventh place. It was Amager's fifth loss in a row. They still close the standings with five games lost. Holbaek will play against Copenhagen (#10) at home in the next round. Amager will play against the league's leader Bakken having rather not much hope for a victory.
