Regular Season Round 7: BAC - Randers 89-108

The game in Aarhus was also quite interesting. Sixth ranked Randers (3-3) played at the court of 7th ranked BAC (1-4). Randers did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 108-89 on Friday. Randers dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to BAC's 50. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Vin Baker Jr (206-1999, college: Milwaukee) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Steven Green (196-1993, college: OKBU) helped adding 29 points. Randers' coach Martin Knezevic used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side point guard Filip Ates (185-2004) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists and guard Frederik Erichsen (205-2006) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Randers maintains sixth place with 3-3 record. BAC lost their fourth game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with four games lost. They share it with Herlev. Randers will meet at home league's second-placed Naestved in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. BAC will play against Herlev (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
