But Loewen was not able to use a home court advantage and was edged by the opponent from Salzkotten 80-77 on Saturday night. Salzkotten outrebounded Loewen 41-26 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was Lithuanian Dainius Zvinklys (203-1990) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds.
