Regular Season Round 6: Reutlingen - Lich Basketball 82-80

Very expected game when 8th ranked Lich Basketball (2-3) was edged on the road by fourth ranked Reutlingen (4-1) 82-80 on Saturday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. The best player for the winners was Spanish-Dominican power forward Michel Acosta (201-1992) who scored 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field). Point guard Kilian Fischer (184-2002) chipped in 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Reutlingen players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international Johannes Lischka (203-1987) who recorded a double-double by scoring 27 points and 11 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and power forward Yannik Ribbecke (197-1997) added 13 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Reutlingen have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with SC Wizards.
