Regular Season Round 3: Nuernberg - Kirchheim 86-92

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Falcons (2-1) in Nuernberg. Hosts were defeated by Kirchheim Knights (3-0) 92-86. Kirchheim Knights made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. It was a good game for American guard Mike Miller (193-1997, college: N.Texas) who led his team to a victory with 19 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. His fellow American import guard Michael Flowers (185-1999, college: WSU) contributed with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) for the winners. Julius Wolf (205-1993) answered with 18 points and American power forward Courtney Alexander (203-1997, college: Tenn Tech) added 17 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Falcons. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kirchheim Knights will play against Skyliners in Frankfurt in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Falcons will play on the road against Duesseldorf (#11) and hope to get back on the winning track.
