Date: October 14, 2023
The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of BC Vienna (1-1) in St.Poelten on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by UBC St. Poelten (3-0) 79-69. The game was mostly controlled by UBC St. Poelten. BC Vienna managed to win fourth quarter 18-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The best player for the winners was American guard MJ Randolph (193-1999, college: FAMU) who scored 28 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Serbian-Hungarian power forward Nebojsa Dukic (206-1988, agency: 011 Sports) chipped in 13 points. UBC St. Poelten is looking forward to face Gmunden Swans (#6) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. BC Vienna will play against Raiffeisen Flyers Wels and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
