Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both fifth ranked Bodrum and 6th ranked Bursa A. had identical 2-1 record. This time Bodrum used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Antspor 74-69 on Saturday night. The winners were led by American guard Aliyah Collier (183-1997, college: Clemson) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 4 assists and point guard Simay Oget (165-2001) supported her with 22 points and 5 rebounds. Bodrum's coach Guray Kurtulus used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 20 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by naturalized Swedish guard Maryam Gultekin (166-1990) did not help to save the game for Bursa A.. Guard Rabia Celebi (167-1985) added 12 points and 10 rebounds for lost side. Four Bursa A. players scored in double figures. Bodrum (3-1) moved-up to third place, which they share with 3 other teams. Bursa A. at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Bodrum will meet at home Turgutlu (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Bursa A. will play against Fenerbahce G. and hope to secure a win.
