The game between Top Four teams took place in Kaunas. Leader host Zalgiris (5-0) defeated second-ranked Jonava (4-1) 86-69. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Jonava. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded Jonava 41-26 including a 30-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Zalgiris looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international center Laurynas Birutis (213-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Greek-Canadian guard Nazareth Mitrou-Long (193-1993, college: Iowa St.) chipped in 18 points. Serbian Strahinja Micovic (205-1992) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and American-Qatari guard Mike Lewis II (188-1998, college: Duquesne) added 16 points and 4 steals respectively for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Zalgiris. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Rytas. Jonava at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. They share the position with 3 other teams. Zalgiris will meet Nevezis (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Jonava will play against Wolves (#6) and hope to secure a win.
