Skyliners smashed Uni Baskets in Frankfurt 95-56. Skyliners forced 21 Uni Baskets turnovers and outrebounded them 37-21 including a 26-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. Skyliners shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. The best player for the winners was Canadian guard Aiden Warnholtz (188-2000, college: Carleton) who scored 24 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!). American guard Booker Coplin (191-1997, college: Augsburg, agency: BIG) chipped in 19 points. Four Skyliners players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Hutton Yenor (193, college: Rollins) who recorded 13 points and 4 assists and Canadian power forward Julian Roche (211-1997, college: Simon Fraser) added 17 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!) respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Uni Baskets will play next round against Lions trying to get back on the winning streak. Skyliners will try to continue on its current victory against Kirchheim Knights at home.
