Regular Season Round 1: Tofas - Cagdas BS 96-78

An interesting game took place in Bursa where Cagdas BS was upset on the court of Tofas 96-78 on Sunday. Tofas outrebounded Cagdas BS 45-32 including 31 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Omer Engin (183-2006) fired 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Guard Cem Kucukozkan (193-2005) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals. Four Tofas players scored in double figures. Ali Altin (-2005) produced 25 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Akin Dede (204-2005) added 14 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tofas will meet TED Ankara on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Cagdas BS will have a break next round.
