Regular Season Round 3: Kornwestheim - Ulm 70-78

No shocking result in a game when Ulm (3-0) beat on the road Kornwestheim (0-2) 78-70 on Sunday. Ulm dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Kornwestheim's 26. Ulm forced 21 Kornwestheim turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for center Tobias Holbach (206-2005) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds. Point guard Jordan Mueller (185-2006) accounted for 13 points, 6 assists and 6 steals for the winning side. Four Ulm players scored in double figures. Noah Popescu came up with 15 points and guard Josia Gentischer (187-2006) added 12 points respectively for Kornwestheim in the defeat. Kornwestheim's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Ulm will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kornwestheim will play against OrangeAcademy (#2) in Memmingen and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
