Regular Season Round 4: SISU - Falcon 65-78
Date: October 15, 2023
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Copenhagen: Falcon (#1) and SISU (#3). SISU was defeated at home 65-78 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Falcon dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to SISU's 28. Falcon forced 21 SISU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Julianna Okosun (194-2001, college: Marquette) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds. International guard Elisabeth Brynaa (176-1993) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Point guard Rim Taha (168-2004) replied with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Emilie Ravn (176-2000) added 14 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for SISU. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Falcon have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 4-0 record. SISU at the other side keeps the third place with two games lost. They share the position with Herlev. Falcon are looking forward to face Herlev (#4) on the road in the next round. SISU will have a break next round.
