There was an upset when Dinamo B. (3-1) was defeated on the road by Brasov (2-2) 74-67 on Monday. Dinamo B. was trailing by 7 points at halftime but managed to get 2-point lead after three quarters before a 19-10 charge of Brasov, which allowed them to win the game. They made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Brasov outrebounded Dinamo B. 49-29 including 17 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was Senegalese power forward Ousmane Barro (207-1984, college: Marquette) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line). Andrei Petica (192-1993) chipped in 19 points. Brasov's coach Ionut Bascoveanu used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
