There was a minor upset when Constanta 2 was rolled over on the road by Targu Mures 2 94-69 on Friday. The game without a history. Targu Mures 2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. Targu Mures 2 outrebounded Constanta 2 60-42 including a 28-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Andrei Muresan (198-2003) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Raducu Blaga (195-2004) chipped in 19 points and 6 rebounds. Four Targu Mures 2 players scored in double figures. Cezar Unitu (-2005) produced 19 points and 9 rebounds and Sergiu Draghici (-2005) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Targu Mures 2 will meet at home Cluj CSU in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Constanta 2 will play against Politehnica Iasi and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
