A very close game took place in Dresden between 46ers and Titans. Eighth ranked 46ers (3-2) got a very close victory on the road over 5th ranked Titans (2-2). 46ers managed to escape with a 3-point win 88-85 in the fight for the sixth place. 46ers looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The winners were led by American guard Duane Wilson (190-1994, college: Texas A&M) who scored that evening 20 points and Slovakian point guard Simon Krajcovic (188-1994, college: LMU) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Wilson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas. Four 46ers players scored in double figures. Even 23 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists by American guard Grayson Murphy (187-1999, college: Belmont) did not help to save the game for Titans. Guard Daniel Kirchner (187-1997) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. 46ers moved-up to sixth place. Loser Titans dropped to the seventh position with two games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. 46ers will meet at home league's leader Skyliners in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Titans will play against Falcons (#12) and hope to secure a win.
