There was a surprise result in Bursa where fourteenth ranked Final Spor (3-4) beat higher ranked Igdir (4-3) 86-74 on Sunday. American guard Deshon Taylor (188-1996, college: Fresno St.) fired 22 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists (made all of his seven free throws) for the winners. Ahmet Tunali (203-1992) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. Five Final Spor players scored in double figures. American point guard Marlain Veal (175-1996, college: SE Louisiana) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists and Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (200-1995) added 10 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Final Spor moved-up to eighth place, which they share with 6 other teams. Newly promoted Igdir keeps the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Konyaspor. Final Spor will meet Kapakli Spor (#11) in the next round. Igdir will play against Fenerbahce 2 (#10) and hope to secure a win.
